Practical Requirement of Level 4 CET Course
The practical teaching requirement is an important component of the Level 4 certificate in education and training. Learners have to complete at least 30 hours of teaching practise that will involve live teaching delivery and observed sessions. Learners are also required to complete at least 3 observed teaching sessions, which total at least 3 hours (out of 30 hours of teaching practise) of observation time and the learner would be observed and assessed by a qualified assessor.

Level 4 CET qualification requires that your teaching observations be undertaken in an actual classroom environment. The simulations are not allowed, and the observations should be made in a real teaching room.
There are two choices for the observations needed in this course. Either you can find an expert witness/ assessor with a level 5 Diploma in Education or a teaching degree with equivalent, or you can use a recorded video of your session and send it to our qualified assessor.
