Level 3 CAVA Course Description
The Level 3 CAVA assessor course covers various activities that assessors must perform. This includes knowing the principles and practices of assessment, such as different assessment methods, planning, legal issues, and quality assurance. This Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement course helps to know how learners can evaluate vocational skills, knowledge, and understanding under simulated or classroom set-ups and also evaluate occupational competence in the actual workplace.
The evidence based assessment is employed during the Level 3 CAVA course and involves the learner developing a portfolio to show actual assessment practice. The learners will plan and conduct an assessment on at least two learners, collect evidence, and support their judgement about the assessment based on national standards.
